Kahuku Motocross Track Hawaii

On any given weekend in the Mountains above Hawaii's North Shore you will find motorcycle enthusiast at play. From fire marshals to business men, house moms to grade school students, young and old come to the Kahuku Motocross track to enjoy a sport they call thrilling and amazing.

Kahuku motocross track is made for all skill levels spanding 500 acres of hilly red dirt. The Motocross style track wines around the back of the mountain and turns into a supercross style track near the spectator area, the design of this track sure takes advantage of the various elevations of the land.

Many riders and their family's have been coming to the track for years. Twenty four year old Nathaniel James has been a regular at Kahuku motocross track for more then 10 years, ever since his friend introduced him to the sport. He was fourteen when his father bought him a kawasaki 125 cc dirt bike. He says the thrill of speed and terrain give him an adreneline rush he seeks every time he puts on his helmet. "the wind blowing in your face as you speed up and down mountainous terrain.." is the description Nathaniel gives as a big smile on his face appears.

The Kahuku motocross track on the north shore of hawaii has been in existent for over 20 years and serves as the only track of its kind in the state. On saturdays and sundays, the only days the track is open, riders from around the island come to enjoy what they love most in a hawaii activity. "a day at the track is a family tradition that many family's do" said Nathaniel.
