Hawaii Vacation-Part 1-Oahu

The first of our parts, four sets of trip to Hawaii brings us to the island of Oahu, The Gathering Place. "In subsequent articles we will explore the islands of Maui, Kauai and Big Island.

Oahu Hawaii 's third largest island and its most developed. Honolulu is the hub of all the islands together, offers many activities and accommodations, along with a sense of escape and relaxation in the mild weather all year round.

Almost three quarters of> Hawaii about 1.2 million reside on Oahu and about 400,000 live in Honolulu.

Oahu is a good place to start your holiday. Most flights land in Honolulu from the American continent and elsewhere than in any other airport in the Hawaiian Islands.

It 'also the cheapest to visit the Hawaiian Islands. The only island that has a good bus service throughout the island, it is possible for the island to rent a car without experience.

Haleiwa, the mainNorth Shore City is 24 miles north of Honolulu. It is a mecca for surfers from around the world since 1960, but is not an area for less experienced surfers. This is a day trip from Waikiki.

Whatever the adventure meet in Oahu, whether it be learning to surf Wakiki, rising to head Diamaond, or enjoy the warm sand of a beach stack your holiday is too early to discover all this island has until the end to offer. Maybe next time ....

Hawaii Vacation-Part 4-Kauai

Our Hawaii Vacation series continues with the island of Kauai, the fourth and final island in this series.

This small island has an incredible variety of landscapes. Sculpted more than six million years ago by the forces of nature, its spectacular landscapes ranging from posts Na cliffs on the North Shore for the dramatic Waimea Canyon. Kaui slower seems more suited to a quiet family vacation or outdoor adventure.

The oldest and northernmost of the fourmajor islands of Hawaii, Kauai only covers 553 miles square, is a feature, "round" island with a population of 51,000 inhabitants.

The Pinceville Kauai Resort is located on the north coast of Kauai. This is one of the main cities and is always topped the list of hotels in Kauai. Hiking trails in the park offer views of the gorge and lush "forest environment. The canyon itself is also available forHiking, fishing and camping.

Kauai's Na Pali cliffs on the coast are pure, wild beauty, with deep narrow valleys of Focus on the sea. Waterfalls, fast flowing rivers and extensive stone terraces remain in the valley, where ancient Native Hawaiians lived.

The 11 miles Kalalau Trail provides the only land access to this part of the coast. The path winds through towering cliffs and through lush valleys, then falls to sea level rise on beachesHanakapi'ai and Kalalau.

But much to see the island only by air. To see Kauai by helicopter is like nothing else on earth, with its waterfalls, uninhabited remote gorges and hidden valleys.

Some of the best beaches of Kauai: Hanalei Bay Beach is a perfect crescent of white sand and sparkling waters with a backdrop of tropical waterfall 4,000 feet. It is often described as not only the most beautiful beach of Kauai, but also the most beautiful in Hawaii. The beach is about 125 meters wide and bounded by the Waipa River to the west and east of the Hanalei River on Kauai'sNorth Shore. The bottom slopes gradually, making a nice beach for young people, and there are large coral reefs at both ends of the bay.

Haen Beach, appeared with his grainy yellow sand and clear waters off the Emerald Coast reefs, the tropical beach stereotypes in many Hollywood movies.
